Number 7 on my list is Zouk’s Tea Bar and Grill. The restaurant specialises in serving Indian and Pakistani cuisine. You can observe all the cooking action through their open kitchen area, sometimes they make it a show! Zouk’s uses strictly halal ingredients, which helps in creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Making it a perfect spot for a lunch date. It’s one of the best restaurants I’ve visited. 8. Fat Pats
I know this list is supposed to be just restaurants, but I had to include the best sandwich I have ever eaten on the list. Let me tell you about a Hidden Gem in Manchester fat Pats. It is located in a dodgy side street in Chinatown where you probably just about see Spiderman fighting someone. You have to order online through the website and then just knock on the door and wait for them.
I’ve tasted both the Philly cheese steak and hot honey sandwiches and if I’m being honest, they were the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The halal chicken in the sandwich is so crispy and flavourful, it complements the vegetables in the sandwich so much. I’d only recommend the Philly cheese steak if you love beef as the sandwich is extremely sharp. Overall, I would rate this food spot a 10/10. Fat Pats also offers vegetarian options in the shape of an eggplant sandwich. However, I personally have never tried this so I cant give my opinion or recommend it.

9. Lucky Mama’s
Lucky Mama’s is the best Italian spot in Manchester. All dishes are made in house which really made the quality of the food amazing. I can’t get over how fresh the pizza and pasta were. These guys do a range of pasta that gets stuffed in freshly made pizza bowls. They also make sweet and savoury options like their dough ball. I highly recommend that pesto and the individual pizza slices are to die for.
They are looking at opening their second spot in Monton dedicated to their big flavourful single pizza slices. I have no doubt that the queues out the door for them. Right now, the chicken and beef dishes are halal and they are delicious. Just thinking about it now is making me want to go back and have it again. This is a place you must try it.

It’s so authentic and Mexican it gives such a great vibe when you’re inside They do amazing birria tacos, they were beautifully moist and so nicely chargrilled. I loved the chargrilled flavour. The food was so good, that I had to order some for takeout too. I’d honestly give this place a 10 out of 10.
